YouVisited counts 197 countries: the 193 UN member states, the two UN observer states (Vatican City and Palestine), plus Kosovo and Taiwan. You can also track 53 territories such as Greenland, Puerto Rico and Hong Kong, plus Sicily on its own; these don't change your world percentage.
You choose. Profiles can be public, friends-only or private, and every trip and memory has its own visibility. Private profiles are never shown to search engines.
